UP TGT 2022 Selection Process

• Written Exam– 500 Marks
• Selection is Based on Written Exam Merit
• There is only one written exam in UP TGT PGT Recruitment 2022.
• There are 125 Questions in the Written Paper.
• The maximum marks for the written exam are 500.
• Each Question Carries 4 Marks.
• In the written exam, only Your subject questions are asked for which subject you have applied in the Application Form.
• No General Awareness / Current Affairs / Reasoning questions are asked here in the written exam.
• All questions are multiple-choice type questions. No Any Descriptive paper here.
• No Negative Marking in UP TGT Exam 2022

PGT 2022 Selection Process

Written Exam- 425 Marks

Interview- 50 Marks 

Weightage for Extra Academic Qualification- 25 Marks

• B.ed: 5 Marks or
• M.ed: 10 Marks
• Ph.D.: 10 Marks
• Sports Certificate: 5 marks

Selection is Based on Total Merit (500 Marks) based on Written Exam + Interview+ Weightage
